BIRCHER MUESLI

Ingredients
  • 3 tsp maple syrup

  • 50 g fresh raspberries

  • 100g glazed dried fruit and nuts of your choice

  • 250ml Apple juice apple juice

  • 300ml Full cream milk full cream milk

  • 60 g Rolled oats

  • 100 g pecan nuts, toasted and roughly chopped

  • fresh fruit such as figs, plums, berries or peaches, to garnish

  • A pinch salt

Cooking Instructions
  1. Combine the oats, salt, milk and apple juice in a large bowl

  2. Cover with cling wrap and place in the fridge overnight to soak

  3. When you are ready to serve, stir in the nuts and dried fruit and serve with fresh fruit

To make raspberry compote:

  1. In a pan, add 120g raspberries, 2 Tbsp water and 1 Tbsp agave or maple syrup

  2. Allow to simmer for 7 minutes or until desired thickness
