Jeff Carnie - singer - songwriter - producer - recording artist - worship pastor
Jeff Carnie Music is such an intricate part of Jeff’s life, that life without it is unimaginable. Jeff pinned the lyrics to his first song, “There Was a Boy” at the age of twelve. He was much too young to understand that God was anointing him with what would later become his calling.
His music ministry group, the Carnies have been together for over twenty years. The group has traveled throughout the United States and abroad. Today they are the core members of Jeff’s present group, “Spectrum.”
Jeff currently serves as worship pastor for the 9:30 a.m. service at First Baptist Church of Elk Grove (FBCEG), California.
He believes God is in control of all aspects of our lives. When preparation, opportunity, and passion collide, there you will find the plan God has for your life.
FBCEG is located in one of the most diverse areas in California; Jeff is certain that it is God’s plan that he is there. He has a great passion for diversity; however his greatest passion is for God’s presence to be seen in his life.
I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes.
Matt 25:35
Jeff Carnie is also involved in the community. This past October the Carnie’s LOVING HANDS MINISTRY celebrated their 5th annual “Concert for Cans event.”
The Loving Hands Ministry has become a significant ministry at FBCEG by serving many families in need throughout the year, with a specific focus on meeting the needs of families in our community around the holidays.
Loving Hands continues to collaborate with Kirchgater School each year in assisting families that are referred to them by their teachers.
This ministry creates yet another opportunity for FBCEG church to bear witness to the faithfulness of Jesus. They are planting seeds in lives that the Holy Spirit can grow, cultivate, and produce at any time. This ministry affords all who wish to participate the opportunity to love on, and touch lives in the most basic of ways, “providing food assistance."
