RIANA VAN WYK

Riana has a Diploma in Christian Councelling, and is a professional recording and performing artist.

Her first gospel album "Stand by your Lord" was released in 2002 through Vision Music, where after other solo and compilations albums followed under the recording lable of Hoezit Music and Select Music.

Her new album entiteld "You're my Glory" is now available and is taken the listener into a new dimension of worship.

Riana has won an ATKV Lier Award in 2001 for her contribution and vocal recordings on the album "60 Beste Kinderliedjies - Volume 2" that sold more than 15 000 units.

She was also involved in the backing vocal recordings of the album "Beautiful Marches" and has written 80 new kiddies songs for the double album READY FOR SCHOOL/REG VIR GROOTSKOOL.This album is currently used by pre-primary schools to educate todlers between the ages of 3 and 6 years old and has sold more that 7 000 units....

Riana's jazz recording of the song "Breaking up is hard to do" was playlisted on Radio KFM, and currently her music is played on the local radiostations Radio Helderberg and Radio Tygerberg. She can also be heard on Radio RSG in the mornings where she is reading stories to the youngsters, and her gospel album has been ordered by people from England, Los Angeles, Australia etc.

Riana had a brain operation on the 2nd of October 2010 after aneurysm. The docters gave her a 2% chance of survival after which God has healed her almost perfectly.

She is currently visiting interdenominational churches and Christian Festivals nationwide, where she brings her testimony of hope and love to the nation.

Riana and her family is currently attending services at Dikaios Christian Church in Stellenbosch, and when not there, she is on the road spreading the good news of the power of the cross and Jesus Christ.

She bring a message of hope, love, forgiveness and peace to the nation and proclaims that she is nothing without the Holy Spirit working through her.
