Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup shortening
½ teaspoon baking soda
2½ cups powdered sugar
2½ cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped and roasted

Procedure
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine baking soda, powdered sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the butter, shortening, and eggs until smooth.
Combine and mix together all ingredients into one bowl. Add nuts.
Drop teaspoons of dough about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
