Hollandse Poffertjies

250 g koekmeel

300 ml louwarm melk

1 eier, effens geklits

4 g kitsgis

knippie sout

75 g gesmelte botter

Meng en sif die meel.

Meng kitsgis en sout eweredig by.

Voeg melk en eier by en roer tot gemeng.

Bedek en laat rys in warm plek.

Verhit ‘n poffertjiepan en verf bietjie botter in elke holte.

Vul elke holte halfpad met deeg.

Wanneer die deeg gaar is teen die kante en nog

rou in die middel, moet dit omgedraai word.

In geheel bak dit omtrent klaar in twee en ‘n half minute.

Verf met botter as dit gaar is en sif versiersuiker oor.

Bedien met stroop, room, aarbeie of enige ander lekker sous of

bolaag.
