2 x 400g blikke ontpitte kersies

gerasperde skil van 1 suurlemoen

100ml koekmeel

45ml suiker

knypie sout

3 eiers

450ml melk

1 teelepel vanielje

versiersuiker vir garnering

Meng die koekmeel en suiker.

Voeg bietjie van die melk by en roer tot 'n romerige pasta.

Voeg die res van die melk by, asook die eiers, sout en vanielje.

Klits goed.

Dreineer die kersies, maar behou die vloeistof.

Spuit 'n oondbestande bak met 'n kleefwerende middel.

Pak die kersies onderin die bak.

Sprinkel die gerasperde suurlemoenskil oor.

Bedek met die beslag.

Bak oop in oond vir 40 minute teen 190grade.

Verhit die kersievloeistof, voeg suiker by na smaak en roer tot dit dik word.

Bedien die sous koud of warm saam met die nagereg.
