Gebakte droë vye met Simonzola-kaas

450 g droë vye

100 g okkerneute

sap van 1 lemmetjie of suurlemoen

60 ml sagte bruinsuiker

een Franse brood (baguette)

skywe Simonzola-kaas

Verhit jou oond tot 180 °C. Plaas die vye en okkerneute in ’n oondbak en gooi die lemmetjiesap en suiker oor. Bak vir 20 minute en bedruip die vye so nou en dan met die stroop. Sny die brood in skywe en rooster weerskante onder die oondroosterelement. Plaas 2 snye op ’n bord en skep vye bo-oor. Plaas skywe Simonzola-kaas bo-op en bedien dadelik.

Skink hiermee saam

‘n lekker glas port. Dit sal die tekstuur en sterk geur van die Simonzola-kaas balanseer terwyl die soetheid daarvan die vye sal aanvul.
