South African Asparagus Bredie

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Medium Onions, sliced
3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
2 Pounds Meat, Chicken or Lamb
1 Cup Stock
Salt And Pepper, to taste
2 Pounds Asparagus
3 Medium Potatoes, sliced
1 Lemon Lemon Juice
Cooking Instructions:
Saute onions meat and garlic in oil for 10 minutes; add stock, salt and pepper, cover and simmer 10 minutes; add potatoes, cover, simmer 20 mintues; add asparages, cover and simmer 7 minutes, remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, serve over rice.
