Butterscotch Milkshake
Method:
Place flat frying pan on medium to high heat.
Pour castor sugar in pan evenly.
Allow to melt evenly. Do not stir.
Gradually add more sugar evenly and sparingly and wait for each additional layer of sugar to melt completely.
Lower the heat and make sure it doesn’t burn.
Add warm cream and mix until smooth.
Set aside to cool.
Generously add butterscotch to a glass of vanilla ice-cream to flavour and add milk for consistency.
Berry Milkshake
Method:
Make compote with cranberries, raspberries, strawberries and sugar over a medium heat.
Cook for 30 minutes or until a syrup forms.
Remove from heat and sieve into a bowl.
Reduce the syrup in a pan over medium to high heat.
Allow to cool.
Add to vanilla ice-cream and milk.
Vanilla milkshake
Method:
Add vanilla paste and vanilla essence to vanilla ice-cream to taste.
