Portuguese Green Beans in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:
1 Onion, chopped
1 Garlic Clove, chopped
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 ½ lb Green Beans, cut into 7.5cm/3-inch pieces
3 Tomatoes, chopped
2 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
1 teasp Sugar
Salt and Black Pepper
1/2 teasp dried Basil
Cooking Instructions:
Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onion and garlic and sauté for a few minutes until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, until the beans are very tender. Serve immediately.
