200 g (250 ml) sagte bruinsuiker

250 ml wit rys

250 ml rooibostee-blare

4 salmfilette

sout en varsgemaalde swartpeper na smaak

10 ml olyfolie

hand vol vars slaaiblare

1 suurlemoen, in wiggies gesny

Voer ‘n diep wok of kastrol met tinfoelie uit. (Jy moet ‘n ronde afkoelrak hê wat binne-in pas.) Meng suiker, rys en teeblare. Gooi mengsel in wok. Sit wok op stoof en verhit. Geur vis met sout en swartpeper en smeer ‘n bietjie olyfolie oor elke filet. Plaas vis op rakkie in wok wanneer dit begin rook. Maak toe met deksel. Laat rook vir 8 – 10 minute. Sit voor met slaaiblare en suurlemoen.
