1 gerookte vark skenkel (eisbein)

1 pakkie gedroogte gespikkelde bone

1 aartappel grof gerasper

1 ui fyn gekap

2 lekker ryp tamaties - opgekap

3 el blatjang

1 pakkies bruin of wit uie sop-aangemaak met bietjie koue water

sout en peper na smaak

Sit jou bone vroegoggend of oornag in water geweek

Spoel goed deur met koue , gooi 1 liter water by en bring tot kookpunt

Sit nou die hele gerookte eisbein by en kook alles saam tot boontjies sag

is en vleis van been begin afval, gooi gereeld kookwater by, roer liggies

Verwyder nou die bene, druk bone fyn, sny die vleis en spek in stukke op

Gooi nou by aartappel, en ui en tamatie, kook stadig tot aartappel sag is.

Voeg aangemaakte sop en blatjang by, meng mooi deur

Sout en peper na smaak

Laat alles stadig saam prut vir 10 min

*sit voor saam vetkoek of lekker vars brood
