Makes 12 | Takes 25 min
Ingredients
3 sheets phyllo pastry
melted butter, for brushing
12 Lindt milk or dark chocolate balls
vegetable oil, for deep frying
Method
Brush a sheet of phyllo with butter and top with another layer of phyllo. Repeat. Cut into 11cm squares. Place a chocolate ball in the middle of each square and roll up, twisting the 2 ends in different directions to enclose the filling. Tie the ends close with kitchen string.
Heat enough oil in a saucepan to come halfway up the sides. Deep-fry the sweets in batches for about 3 minutes until golden. Drain on kitchen towels.
