Try these flavoursome, homemade chicken sosaties wrapped in bacon instead of the usual chops and sausage.

Serves 6 | Takes 20 min

Ingredients

6 chicken breasts

streaky bacon

lemon leaves

6 kebab sticks

Method

Cut chicken breasts into bitesize pieces and wrap each with a piece of streaky bacon.

Skewer onto kebab sticks with lemon leaves and cook over medium coals for about 10 minutes.

To prevent the kebab sticks from burning, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes before using.

Tip

Tie bunches of herbs like rosemary and thyme together to use as a brush when basting or brushing oil during cooking. This is a great way to add flavour to meat and vegetables.
