CHEESY BILTONG STRAWS

1 roll store-bought puff pastry
1 cup (250ml) grated Cheddar
½ cup (125ml) powdered biltong
1 tsp (5ml) paprika
1 egg, beaten
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two baking trays with baking paper.
Dust a surface with flour and roll the pastry out into a large square.
Sprinkle the cheese and biltong powder over the pastry (reserving 45ml or 3 tbsp of each). Sprinkle with paprika.
Fold the pastry over and roll again. Cut the pastry in half and then into strips. Twist the strips and place on the lined baking trays.
Brush with egg then sprinkle with remaining cheese and biltong. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and slightly puffed.
