QUICK ONION GRAVY

Makes 1 cup (250ml) Prep 5 min
Cook 20-25 min
2 tbsp (30ml) olive or avocado oil
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp (30ml) flour
3 cups (750ml) beef stock
salt and pepper
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and gently fry the onions over medium heat for 15 minutes until browned and softened.
Add the flour to the onions, followed by the stock. Season and stir well.
Bring to the boil and cook until reduced and slightly thickened.
