This roosterkoek is the perfect side dish or starter to go with your braai.
Serves 6 | Takes 25 min
Ingredients
1kg store-bought white bread dough
125ml crumbled Feta cheese
a handful of halved cocktail tomatoes
basil leaves
Method
Divide store-bought white bread dough into 6 balls, then roll out on a lightly floured surface to 5mm thick.
Top the bottom half of the dough balls with crumbled Feta cheese, halved cocktail tomatoes and a few basil leaves.
Fold the dough over to enclose the filling and pinch together. Cook over medium coals until golden.
