SAUCY BAR-ONE PUDDING

2 eggs
2/3 cup (160ml) vegetable oil
1 cup (250ml) water
500g (½ packet) Golden Cloud
Chocolate Muffin Mix
2 large Bar-ones, chopped
For the sauce
1 cup (250ml) soft brown sugar
2 tbsp (30ml) hot chocolate powder
1¾ cup (430ml) boiling water
For the topping
2 large Bar-ones, chopped
½ cup (125ml) cream
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a large 30cm-diameter ovenproof bowl.
Beat the eggs, oil and water together with an electric beater for 2 minutes until well combined.Add the muffin mix to the wet ingredients until just combined.
Mix the chocolate through the batter and pour the mixture into the prepared bowl.
For the sauce, mix the sugar, hot chocolate and water in a saucepan over high heat and boil for 15 minutes until the sauce is slightly thick and the sugar has dissolved. Pour over the back of a spoon on top of the pudding. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked – it must be moist, but not runny.
For the topping, melt the chocolate and cream together in a pan over medium heat until smooth. Serve with the pudding.
