TANGY APPLE SAUCE

Makes 1 cup (250ml) Prep 5 min
Cook 15 min
5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored
and quartered
4 tbsp (60ml) castor sugar
4 tbsp (60ml) butter
Place all ingredients in a pan and cover with a lid.
Place over low heat, stirring Add flavour to those juicy roasts with two essential accompaniments occasionally, for about 15 minutes until the apples break down into a purée.
Serve with meat and sides of your choice
