SPICY CHEESE STRAWS

1 x 500g packet puff pastry
1½ cups (375ml) Cheddar cheese, grated
½ tsp (3ml) paprika
½ tsp (3ml) ground cumin
½ tsp (3ml) coarse salt
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll the pastry out on a floured surface and sprinkle with half the cheese and spices.
2 Fold the pastry in half and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and spices, fold over and roll. Cut long strips of the pastry and twist.
3 Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven and allow too cool completely.
4 Serve with pickles and dips.
