CUSTARD SLICES

Microwave
INGREDIENTS
200g cream crackers (1 packet)
1 Tin condensed milk
3 Tins fresh milk (use empty condensed milk tine to measure)
3 eggs
5 ml vanilla essence
25 ml stork margarine
80 ml custard powder
Icing
500 ml icing sugar
+- 40 ml boiling water.
Spray container with Spray and cook
Arrange biscuits with halving lines all in the same direction.
Microwave condensed milk, fresh milk and margarine until boiling, approx 10 minutes on high.
Stir after 5 minutes
Beat together eggs, custard powder and vanilla.
Add a little hot milk to the egg mixture, stir and add egg mixture to milk.
Microwave for 5 minutes on high. Stir after 3 minutes
Beat with whisk until smooth. Pour over cream crackers.
Place another layer of biscuits on top, halving lines in same direction as bottom layer.
Leave in fridge to cool completely.
Mix ingredients for icing to a smooth paste. Pour over the custard slices and smooth with the neck of the spoon. Place back in the fridge.
Cut slices into ½ biscuit size.
