Gooi balsemiekasyn in ’n kastrol. Verhit die asyn tot kookpunt terwyl jy die heeltyd roer. Hou aan met roer tot die asyn met die helfte ingekook het. As jy ’n soet reduksie wil hê, voeg 15 ml suiker by terwyl die mengsel kook. Haal die ingekookte mengsel van die plaat af en laat afkoel. Gooi in ’n skoon, gesteriliseerde bottle. Drup oor slaaie of geroosterde vleis of hoender.
