This apricot coating is brushed onto tartes pastries and fruits.

It helps pastries retain moisture and stay fresh longer.

Ingredients Required: Apricot Glaze

1. Apricot Nectar (Beverage) 1 - 11.5 ounce can

2. Un-flavored gelatin 3 - packets (3/4 oz)

3. Granulated Sugar 1/4 cup

4. Apricot Preserves 1/4 cup

Preparation Instructions: Apricot Glaze

1. Combine Combine all ingredients in a saucepan or microwave dish.

2. Boil Bring to a full boil. Using a spoon skim off and foam that may appear.

3. Strain Pour through a strainer into storage container.

4. Store Store covered - chilled

Variations: Add a few drops of Red Color for glazing strawberries or raspberries
