2 porsies

2 eisbeins

sout en varsgemaalde swartpeper na smaak

2 knoffelhuisies, fyngekap

sowat 50 ml olyfolie

3 uie, in skywe gesny

1 blikkie bier

Verhit oond tot 160 °C. Geur eisbeins met sout en swartpeper en smeer knoffel daaroor. Gooi olyfolie in ’n oondroosterbak en skep uieskywe in. Plaas eisbeins bo-op en sit in die oond. Dit moet vir sowat 3 uur stadig rooster. Gooi elke 30 minute van die bier oor. Draai die temperatuur op na 200 °C en rooster vir 15 minute tot die vel bros is.

Om te drink

Natuurlik een van die Burgers se eie Welbedacht-wyne! Probeer die chenin blanc, dis vol tropiese geure.
