Ingredients:
Beef cut into 2.5cm thick cubes
Pork cut into 2.5cm thick cubes
Pork bacon
1 Tbsp corn flour
Onion
Wooden Skewers soaked in water for 1 hour
Hot sauce of your choice
Sauce:
1 Cup water
2 Cups vinegar
1 Tbsp curry powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Cup apricot jam
1/2 Cup chutney
4 Crushed lemon leaves
Salt & pepper to taste
1 Cup milk
Method:
Add all the sauce ingriedents together in a big pot and bring to boil on medium to high heat.
Stir mixture frequently
In a small cup / bowl mix cornflour with water
Add to sauce mixture
Add hot sauce and onion to mixture and stir to incorporate
Add meat to the sauce and marinate in the fridge for two days
Place meat on wooden skewers and cook on BBQ / Braai
