INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups water
salt, to taste
knob butter
cream and brown sugar, to serve
METHOD
Soak rolled oats and salt in the water overnight. Bring to boil and simmer for 3–5 minutes, depending on the thickness desired. Stir occasionally. Add butter and stir until melted. Serve with cream and brown sugar.
