Granny Barr’s raisin scrolls

“This is MY Gran’s recipe!” - Dulcie
INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
175g butter
1 cup milk
melted butter, for spreading
1 cup raisins
1 cuop brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
METHOD
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Rub in butter, add milk to make a dough.
Roll out the dough and spread lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and raisins. Roll up and cut into 1½ inch pieces. Place scrolls on tray.
Bake 20 minutes at 200°C.
