Dagwood's Blondies from Blondie's Cookbook

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 oz (1 cup or 16 Tablespoons) Sweet Butter, room temperature
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
with electric mixer, beat butter and both sugars until pale and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and then vanilla.
Mix in flour mixture
Fold in nuts and chocolate chips
Spread batter into 9 x 13" pan, greased
Bake for 45 minutes.
