Monster Mash Cookies

After all, Monsters are sooooooo very interesting!
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups candy-coated chocolate candies
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.
2. In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with electric mixer on medium speed 2 to 3 minutes or until light and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. On low speed, beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and candies.
3. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by level 1/4 cupfuls about 4 inches apart.
4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes
