how to make custard
In a large sauce pan over medium heat, combine cream, milk, egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Whisk until all combined. Switch to a (wooden) spoon and stir continuously until the custard starts to thicken.
Take custard off heat and stir in vanilla and cold butter pieces.
Divide custard into 12 (3 ounce) paper cups and spoon blueberry sauce on top of the custard.
Take wooden sticks to swirl down the sauce into the custard and finish with the stick standing in the middle of the cup.
Freeze custard pops overnight or until frozen.
To take custard out of paper cups, cut a small slit at the top of the cup and peel away the paper. Enjoy!
