Easy peasy shortbread biscuits

450g (450ml) butter
210g (250ml) castor sugar
1 can condensed milk
5 cups flour
1/4 teaspn salt
1 teaspn lemon/caramel /vanilla essence
700g (1 400ml) flour
Smarties, cherries nuts Or confectioners jam for decoration
METHOD
Cream butter and castor sugar until light.
Add condensed milk and essence and beat well.
Sift flour and 1/4 salt together, add to creamed mixture.
Place teaspoonfuls of mixture on a greased baking tray and press a smartie/ cherrie/ nut etc (of choice).
Bake at 190°C for 15-20 minutes.
Makes about 150 yummy chews
