After tasting this, you won't want to make just a normal cheese sauce again. Also, it's very easy and quick.

INGREDIENTS

60ml butter

60ml flour

1 cup beef stock

1 cup cream

1 cup grated cheddar

45ml freshly ground pepper

salt to taste

METHOD

Prepare all the ingredients, making this sauce goes really fast and I suggest having everything ready by your stove top before you start.

Melt your butter in a sauce pan on medium heat and add the flour. Mix well and add the beef stock. Mix well. Add the grated cheese, stir until it melts, and add the cream. Add the pepper and salt to taste. Stir and remove from heat. Serve immediately.

It goes well with chips, steak, potatoes and for dipping sauce. (Thanks BraaiBoy for the steak.)
