This is a great favourite with all kids and adults too. Maybe you remember your Mom or Granny making this and dividing it between your brothers and sisters? My kids were always fighting about how many each of them got.
Going through old recipes, long forgotten, I stumbled on this Fudge recipe, it brought back so many memories! It is so easy to make and this is the original recipe, no other one tastes like this Fudge.
INGREDIENTS
2 Packets Marie Biscuits
250gm Butter
2 Eggs
500gm Icing Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
METHOD
Crush the biscuits in small little pieces. Melt the butter slowly, when cooled slightly, add 2 beaten eggs and mix well. Add the icing sugar, cocoa and vanilla essence and mix well. Place mixture on baking tray or bowl, spread evenly, cool in fridge for 2 hours. Cut it in desired size squares. Keep them in cool place or fridge.
