Easy Quiche Recipe

If you don’t want to make a quiche with a crust, you can make this easy recipe. I made this for breakfast but will be just a delcious for a snack or light supper

Ingredients

 2 cup grated cheese

 2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

 2 cup milk

 1/2 cup flour

 1 packet of button diced mushrooms

 4 spring onions finely chopped

 1 medium sweet red pepper chopped

 6 eggs

 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped

 salt to taste

 ground black pepper to taste

 2 tbsp butter

Preheat oven to 180 C

Method

1. Prepare your baking dish by greasing it with the butter so that it does not stick.

2. In a medium bowl, add three cups of the cheese and mix well. Add the cheese on the bottom of the prepared baking dish, make sure to spread evenly.

3. Using a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add the chopped mushrooms, onions, red pepper and sauté them until golden brown and add it to the mixture in the baking dish followed by the ham and parsley.

4. Mix the flour with a little milk into a paste.

5. Beat the eggs and the milk, pour the flour mixture in. It is important that the mixture is nice and smooth with no lumps. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese into the dish and pour the milk and eggs with flour carefully on top of the mixture in the dish.

Bake in pre-heated oven

When removed from the oven, let it rest for about 10 minutes
