Watercress and egg soup

From the beautiful island of Mauritius
1 bunch watecress cleaned and washed
You can also use the stems and leaves
1 egg
Garlic paste
Salt to taste
Ground pepper
1 medium finely chopped onion
Oil
Method
Add a little oil to a pot
When hot add onions and cook until clear.
Add garlic. ...stir
Pepper
Salt to taste
Add ur beaten egg and mix
Add half litre of hot boiled water to pot
And stir.
Once it heats up add watercress, give it a stir
Taste again if it has salt.
Remove from heat and enjoy
You can add mushrooms, chicken strips as well.
