Balsamic Braai Onions

Prepare, gather and have ready all your ingredients in front of you before you begin cooking – this is known as mis en place.
Ingredients
100 g Large Red Onions Grated
250 ml Breadcrumbs
10 ml Parsley
5 ml Sweet Basil
100 g grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Eggs
60 ml Olive Oil
30 ml Balsamic Vinegar
Atlantic Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Instructions
Peel the onions and slice off the tops. Scoop out the insides leaving a layer of 3 onion rings thick.
Place the onions onto a large piece of tin foil, hollow side up.
In bowl mix together the Parsley, Sweet Basil, grated parmesan, breadcrumbs and eggs until well combined.
Stuff the onions with the filling and drizzle with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Season with Atlantic Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
Wrap the tin foil over the onions to create a sealed parcel and place on top of the braai grid..
Allow to cook until the onions are tender.
