Ingredients:

6 ripe medium tomatoes

½ bunch dhunia

½ bunch mint

3 cloves garlic

½ medium onion

Fine salt to taste

5 – 8 green chillies (depending on how hot you prefer it)

3 – 4 tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar

METHOD:

Place tomatoes in a pot, cover with water and boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from water and leave to cool. When cool, remove the tomato skins and place in a blender. Add all the rest of the ingredients and blend smooth. Place in a sealed container and keep refrigerated.

Serve with grills or curries.

This chutney is more liquidy and not as thick as the peanut chutneys.
