Boerewors quiche

Wondering what to do with left over boerewors

4 braaied boerewors, cut into pieces

4 braaied onions, chopped

1 braaied garlic clove

4 eggs, beaten

1 cup milk

½ cup cheddar cheese, grated

½ cup feta cheese, grated

1 pastry dough

1 tablespoon rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preheat oven to 170˚C.

Mix together the chopped meat, onions and garlic.

Beat 4 eggs and add milk. Add grated cheese to the milk mixture.

Take small pieces of pastry dough and roll into flat circles that will fit your tart pan.

Add the pastry dough to your tart pan and split the braai meat mixture into the pastry “crusts”.

Spoon egg and cheese mixture over the top and cook for 5 to 20 minutes.

Let it cool down and remove from tart pan.
