Garlic lamb chops

Ingredients
8 thick rib chops 20mm thick (loin chops can also be used)
2 cloves of garlic
Wine baste
125ml (1 ½ cup) dry white wine
5ml (1 teaspoon) freshly chopped or 2ml dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Method:
Mix the ingredients for the wine baste. Slash the fat edges of the chops and rub the garlic onto the meat surface. Braai the chops immediately over moderate coals for 10 – 12 minutes, basting them frequently
