125g botter of margarien 60ml fyn appelkooskonfyt

12.5ml koeksoda 500ml koekmeelblom (gesif)

knypie sout 100ml melk

750ml kookwater 250ml suiker

5ml vanieljegeursel klontjie botter (ekstra)

Smelt botter en roer eers konfyt dan koeksoda by (mengsel bruis). Voeg meel en sout beurtelings met melk by. Plaas oorblywende bestanddele in ysterpot en laat opkook. Skep lepelsvol deeg in kokende vloeistof sodat hopies nie opmekaar lê nie. Sit deksel op en prut vir 25 minute lank. Bedien warm, stip met botter.
