1kg rooibokvleis in blokkies gesny 125 ml olie

4 geelwortels, in skyfies gesny 2 uie, in skywe gesny

2 knoffelhuisies, fyn gedruk 10ml gekapte tiemie

250g spekvleis, gekap 500ml port of droë rooiwyn

6 aartappels, in skywe gesny.

Verhit olie in swartpot en soteer wortels, uie en knoffel totdat olie deurskynend is. Voeg tiemie, vleis, spekvleis en port by. Prut 2 uur baie stadig met deksel op. Voeg aartappels by en prut nog 30 tot 45 minute. Sit voor saam met mieliepap.
