Irish Cream Chocolate Ball

Made as a delicious greeting treat for family and friends during the Holiday Season, this Irish Cream Chocolate Ball will make your mouth melt for more!
The Christmas season is one of our favorite times of the year and this is just one of our many specialty dessert recipes from Gramma Macklem’s Kitchen. It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year with some of the most wonderful desserts to make every year!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup finely grated bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp Irish cream
Directions:
Put 1/2 cup of chocolate in a bowl and spread the remaining chocolate evenly onto a plate.
Add the almonds to the chocolate in the bowl, then sift in the sugar. Stir together and add enough of the Irish cream to form a firm mixture.
Take 1 heaped teaspoonful of the mixture at a time and roll into a ball. Continue until you have used up all the mixture. Drop each ball onto the plate of the grated chocolate.
Roll the balls in the grated chocolate on the plate to coat thoroughly, to serve, put each ball in a paper candy case.
