Broccoli-and-bacon pasta bake

1 Fry 250g chopped streaky bacon until cooked. Remove from the pan. 2 Add one chopped onion and two cloves of crushed garlic and saute´ in the bacon fat until soft. 3 Add 300g broccoli florets, cover with the lid and cook over a low heat for five minutes or until the broccoli is almost tender. Remove from the heat. 4 Mix the broccoli mixture with the bacon and add to 400g cooked shell pasta, penne or macaroni. Cover with 500ml prepared cheese sauce and sprinkle with 100g Cheddar cheese. 5 Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
