Greetings to all of our family & friends! We have settled well into village life & the community of Apeni - God is gracious & continuous to aid us in wisdom, insight, strength, patience & His agape love!

Home church in Apeni

We attend a small Baptist home church/group here in village & have been welcomed & accepted by them with open arms. They have asked us to minister & share with them all we know - so Lappies preaches regularly & his object lessons for the children are enjoyed by the adults just as much!!! Veronica is doing a teaching series on “Knowing God” and Marina, who understands the culture & nature of the village people so well, does a sterling job in translating & then ministering as they ask questions, with much godly wisdom, enthusiasm & joy! 2008 a prophecy was given over Lappies & Marina & has come into fulfillment through him ministering Word & her translating: Lappies is the spear shaft & driving force & Marina is the spearhead.

The home fellowship in town of Lagodechi, joined with us for the recent Harvest Festival to celebrate & give thanks! We were greatly encouraged & blessed with great joy by their kindred spirits!

Renovations: The building & renovations are a bit slow as we have only 1 builder & at times his younger brother assists. However, we are grateful, & rejoice that we had the privilege to lead him in a prayer for salvation on Lappies’ birthday at celebration supper! Georgian custom in the villages is that the builder lives with family during time of renovations, works 2 weeks and takes 5 days off.

• Our kitchen & bathroom are complete. Cupboards too! We are able to shower indoors with hot water! With snow already on the mountains & below zero temperatures at times at night, we are grateful for this luxury! It is beautiful & we are so thankful to our Lord for His blessing. • Our new windows are in on first floor - we trust we will be able to do the bedrooms upstairs during November. • Our new doors are in on both floors! • All gutters are done • Canalisation: Redirecting rain water from home & all general household water usage. • Our well point has been cleaned, we installed a smart pump and now have running water inside & outdoors. Other: • Our Petchka (wrought iron stove) has been installed on first floor and our clothes can dry easily now! Yippee!!! • Duck pen has been erected.

Odds & bobs!! • We took Veronica to buy a heater for the coming cold early October - she came out with a fan! (those who know her well, will understand this perfectly!) • HOWEVER ………………………………….. • The weather is currently is average of high 16 & low 4 degrees. As per Veronica – Georgia 16 degrees is much, much colder! Mountains surrounding us have been snow capped since first week in October. Veronica has donned a hat and layers of warm clothes end of October & autumn is still till end Nov, then winter….……….Yikes!!!! • Transit van remains a great blessing & advantage & we have already recovered half of the cost of the vehicle in being able to transport our own building materials etc. • Ducks are beeeg & ready for the pot as per Marina………… Lappies stalling ………… you have guessed it! He has named them & has them following him around as small children! • 4 wagon loads of wood are chopped & stacked in preparation for winter. • Clothes bank has come into operation here in Apeni for the needy.

THANKSGIVING: Psalm 95:2,3 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. • Our new pastor & his family of Tbilisi International fellowship have settled in & are adjusting to Georgia very well! • Abba’s loving grace upon us in adjusting to village life & all it entails! • We have been asked by the Kindergarten school to teach English to the children as from November 2015. The teachers will also be attending. • We regularly receive donations of clothing for distribution to needy people • Success of small test patch vegetable garden • Our “first fruits” vegetable garden harvest, our Hazel nuts & Persimmon’s • We could give our first tithe on our harvested Persimmo's • All the fruit & vegetables we could preserve for coming winter months • Abba’s provision for all renovations done to date & being able to pay builder • Our new kitchen & bathroom • Double glazed windows • Solid doors • Our new wood burning stove (wrought iron) in centre of home on first floor • Continued favour with neighbours • Duck run • We give thanks for seeds we have received to date • After a week of almost non stop rain, our entrance became too muddy to drive our vehicles. We give thanks for being able to purchase a truck load of gravel.

PRAYER REQUESTS: Special prayer: • We will appreciate your prayers for our preparation of the English lessons for the Kindergarten. • We would like to have the first floor completed by mid December, as we would like to host a Christmas party for the neighbouring children, inviting them to English lessons as from 2016. • Stacking chairs & fold up tables for English lessons Immediate Needs: • Funds to purchase building materials for further renovations • Funds to pay the builder • Funds to rent a tractor/plough to clean & prepare the land during November • We need to do the windows of top floor during November • Lower ground floor: floor, walls & ceilings to be renovated in preparation for English lessons, youth group meetings & home fellowship • Generator for electricity • Small Tractor, plough etc. to use for ourselves & also to do ploughing for others, as:

a) A ministry unto widows & very poor people b) As a service to others at a fee, which will be an added income for “The Father’s House, Apeni.” • Fire Extinguishers & water hoses • Furniture for home

To aid us in becoming self-sustainable, we need to start the following as soon as possible: • Buy more seeds for vegetable & herb garden, plus a few fruit trees of different varieties. • Build or buy Aquaponics facility & fish for breeding • Build large chicken run & buy chickens for breeding

We give thanks & continue to be expectant for God to show His right hand strong on our behalf. 2 Corinthians 9:8-11 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
