10 liter water 1kg sout 15 gram salpeter 150 gram bruin suiker 60 gram swart peper 100 gram koljander

Kook nou alles saam in die water tot opgelos, en laat die mengsel afkoel in die koeler oornag,

Laat le nou ontbeende beesrib daarin vir 24 uur. Laat hang uit vir so 12 ure om af te droog, en rook dan met koue rook vir 8-12 ure. Dan vries ek die bakon, en sny waneer dit gevries is..
