Clover amasi spicy chicken

Ingredients 4 Chicken drumsticks 4 Chicken thighs with skin 10 ml Chilli flakes 5 ml Ginger (fresh or dried) 3 ml Salt 5 ml Black pepper 10 ml Curry powder 1 L Clover Amasi 30 ml Canola cooking oil 250 g Fresh spinach (one bunch) 700 g Pumpkin or Butternut 500 g Ready-made samp
Method In a large bowl, massage the chicken pieces with the chilli flakes, ginger, salt, black pepper, and curry powder, then pour over the Amasi and set aside. Boil water. To reduce cooking time, cut pumpkin into smaller pieces and boil over high heat, until soft (approximately 10 – 15 minutes). Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the chicken pieces and cook over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side. When cooked thoroughly, turn the heat down. Add the remaining Clover Amasi marinade from the bowl, cover it and let it simmer. Remove pumpkin from heat and drain. Add to the chicken. Shred the fresh spinach and stir in with the chicken-pumpkin mix. Cover for 2 minutes. Serve chicken-pumpkin mix on samp, brown rice or on its own.
