Ingredients 320 g (3x 250 ml) bread flour 5 ml salt 170 ml lukewarm water 5 g sugar 7 g dried yeast 30 g sunflower oil
Method Add the flour and salt to the bowl of a mixer with the dough hook attachment.
In a measuring jug, whisk together the water, sugar, yeast and sunflower oil, with the machine running on low, add the liquid in a steady stream to the flour, continue mixing until the mixture comes together to form a dough.
Turn the machine up to medium and continue kneading for a further 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic and springs back when pressed.
Remove the dough from the bowl of the mixer and place in an oiled bowl, cover with greased cling film and place in a warm area to prove until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200˚C and place a tray dusted with flour in the oven to get hot.
Roll out 60 g portions of proved dough and bake on the hot tray for 7-8 minutes until golden and sounds hollow when tapped, set these aside.
