Stywepap-en-spekvingers

Hierdie resep het Johnny Snyman van Seepunt met ons gedeel dit is ‘n heerlike bygereg vir ‘n braai.

Genoeg vir sowat 6 mense Bereiding: 30 minute Gaarmaaktyd: sowat 40 minute

500 ml (2 k) water 10 ml (2 t) sout 400-500 ml mieliemeel 15 spekvleisrepies peuselstokkies

Bring die water en sout tot kookpunt en voeg die mieliemeel by. Verlaag die hitte en kook tot gaar. Roer elke dan en wan. Spuit ’n bakplaat met kossproei en skep die gaar pap in die bak, sowat 2-3 cm dik. Druk die pap stewig vas en maak die bokant gelyk. Laat staan tot stewig en sny in skywe. Draai ’n spekrepie om elke skyf en steek vas met ’n peuselstokkie. Braai die vingers op matige kole tot die spek gaar en bros is. Wenk: Jy kan ook ’n bakkie tamatie-en-uiesmoor hierby voorsit.
