There is no sandwich more Proudly South African.
INGREDIENTS: 8 slices white bread Butter for spreading ½ cup Rhodes Braai Relish 2 Tbsps. Chutney 1 cup Cheddar Cheese grated Salt and black pepper
WHAT TO DO: 1.Spread the butter on one side of the bread slices. The buttered side becomes the outside side. 2.Mix the Rhodes Braai Relish with the chutney. 3.Spread a generous layer of the braai relish on 4 slices of bread. 4.Top with the cheese. 5.Season well. 6.Cover with the remaining slices of bread. 7.Place the sandwiches inside a braai grid and slowly toast over warm coals them until golden brown. 8.Serve warm from the coals with braai meat.
