Cola Braaied Chicken

Culinary Tip Prepare, gather and have ready all your ingredients in front of you before you begin cooking – this is known as mis en place.
Ingredients 2 kg Chicken Pieces 30 ml Olive Oil 1 Onion finely chopped 5 ml Robertsons Garlic Flakes 10 ml Robertsons Chicken Spice 340 ml Coca Cola 60 ml Soy Sauce 45 ml Mrs Ball’s Original Chutney
Instructions 1. Heat oil in a pan and gently fry the onion until soft. 2. Add the Robertsons Garlic Flakes and Robertsons Chicken Spice and fry for 2 minutes. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and pour the marinade over the chicken and allow to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours. 4. Place chicken onto the braai over medium coals, basting frequently with the marinade. 5. Cook chicken turning frequently for about 20 -25 minutes until cooked through.
